Luisa
37 Jakarta, Jakarta Raya, Indonesia
Seeking: Male 40 - 43
Hi, fellow singles, thanks for dropping by! My name is Luisa, but my friends just call me ‘gorgeous’. 😉 I grew up in Indonesia and love my country deeply. However, because I lived and studied in Japan for 9 years, I have inherited an unusual mixture of the two countries. What exactly? I don’t know. Perhaps, the punctuality of the Japanese and vivacity of the Indonesians. Who knows?? ;) I am a Christian, and would prefer to meet someone of the same faith. I value honesty and loyalty above anything else: the qualities which I believe are the foundation of any good relationship. I came from an educated family, meaning we all university graduates (with different majors), and discussing (or debating) about things intellectually are very common for us. So yes, talking about meaningless things, the neighbors, and/or celebrity gossips are not my cup of tea. I’m so blessed with parents, siblings, and friends, and they are very important to me, but I am now at a stage in my life where I want to meet someone who can be my life partner: “till death do us part, in sickness and in health” - with all the heartache and joy that goes with that. I don’t believe in soulmates. I believe that two people who like each other, have the same ideals and the same aim in life will grow to love each other. Finding each other wildly attractive helps too! 😄 My professional training is in the field of international relations, so I like to keep abreast of world affairs. I work in a government institution in Jakarta. I love my job, but my life is not at all “work, work, work!”. I play badminton, table tennis, and I’m training to be a Zumba® instructor (I may have a Latin soul too). :-) I like criminal scene investigation type programs on TV and I am now reading ‘Mindhunter’ by John E. Douglas (and Mark Olshaker), as well as trying to plough through a textbook, ‘Why Nations Fail". I am also a big fan of ‘Friends’ and ‘The Big Bang Theory’, and many other sitcoms and movies. I recently saw a great film in which the Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage makes fun of himself. If you think we’ll be a good match, send me a message, and let’s chat.^^ P.s. please refrain from sending messages to ask me to be your tour guide in Indonesia or Japan. I am not interested. And this website/app is simply not the place for that, don't you think? 😅
